What you will make

This is an opportunity to spend the day making a beautiful, yet practical piece of garden art. A garden trellis with 3 fused glass panels. Perfect for climbers in a garden pots or as a pieces of stand alone art. You will learn to cut and shape glass using hand cutting tools, design your panels to fit the trellis and then create them using some beautiful coloured glass, and glass elements and enamels. The trellis is powder coated steel and measures 116cm x 20cm. I will fire your panels for around 24 hours, until fused together with a textured finish. Once cooled, i’ll fix them into the trellis for you.

There will be a short break for lunch. Please bring a packed lunch with you.

What’s included

All glass, tools, kiln firings and finishing and trellis, as well as clear instructions and examples for inspiration, tea and coffee and lots of help in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere are provided.

Only 4 people to a class.

Items will be ready to collect approximately 2 weeks later.

If you would like me to post your garden art to you, you will need to take the trellis away on the day of the workshop and i can post the glass panels out to you and advise what adhesive is needed to secure into place. (This will incur a additional P&P fee)
