Jewellery Workshop
Date: Sat 4th April

What you will make
Create 3 fabulous, fused glass pendants. Choose from a range of beautiful coloured glass, including some sparkly dichrioc glass, glass enamels and metal inclusions to create a pendant unique to you. You will learn how to cut glass to shape and about the effect of temperature on glass.
What’s included
All glass, tools, kiln firings and finishing, as well as clear instructions and examples for inspiration, tea and coffee and lots of help in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere are provided.
Items will be ready to collect approximately 2 weeks later.

Suitable for: adults 16+ only , no experience needed
Coaster Workshop
Date : Sat 25th April
Time: 9.30 - 12am or 2- 4.30 pm

What you make
For those of you who want to make something more practical. Make 4 lovely, fused glass coasters. There will be a large range of glass frits (grains of glass), enamels and copper foil inclusions to add to your clear base glass to create your own design on the coasters.
I will provide
All glass, tools, kiln firings and finishing, as well as clear instructions and examples for inspiration, tea and coffee and lots of help in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere are provided.
Items will be ready to collect approximately 2 weeks later.

Beach Hut S-bend Workshop

What you make
This is a really popular workshop where you design and create a freestanding S-bend that features a beach scene. There will be a range of glass in gorgeous sea and sand colours, as well as some pre-cut beach huts to decorate, to help you create a piece of art unique to you.
What’s included
I will provide all materials needed, examples for inspiration and clear instruction on how to create your piece. I will then fire your piece in the kiln twice and do any finishing that may be needed.
Your piece will be ready to collect approximately 2 weeks later.
Suitable for: adults and accompanied children from 10years, no experience needed.
4 seasons tree S-bend workshop

Time: 9.30 - 12am or 2- 4.30 pm

What you make
This is another really popular workshop where you design and create a freestanding S-bend with 4 trees representing the 4 seasons. There will be a range of glass frit (crushed glass) and glass paints, to help you decorate your S- Bend. Despite the brief it always amazes me how different each one looks.

I will provide all materials needed, examples for inspiration and clear instruction on how to create your piece. I will then fire your piece in the kiln twice and do any finishing that may be needed. Tea and coffee

Christmas fused glass workshop
Date: Sat 17th October
Time: 9.30am, or 2pm

What can you make:
In this 1/2 day, beginner’s workshop you get to design and create either three tealights, three hanging decorations, or a combination of tealights and decorations , a freestanding S-bend or a large Christmas tree tealight.
I will provide a pre-cut clear base glass and a range of different glass elements for you to use in your design and explain how to use them, but the choice of design and pattern will be entirely yours. I will have some examples for your inspiration if you need them.

Private Taster Workshop
These workshops are perfect for those of you who would like to create something specific, or if you would like to book as a group of friends or family. It would make a fabulous gift for those wanting to give something a bit different.
In this work shop, you will be given the choice to make, a set of 3 tealights, a framed picture or a freestanding S-wave or curve. You will start by learning some basic information on glass fusing and I will introduce you to the different types of glass elements available. You will be using a tac fusing method, which gives a lovely textured finish, to create your piece. I will be able to show you examples of the different types of affects you can achieve with the glass provided. Armed with this information, you can draw out a design and start creating your masterpiece. I will be with you all the way, with help and advice when needed.
If you have something in particular in mind, you would like to make, then please contact me to discuss if it is possible to do, within the time and confines of the taster workshop. I will always try to accommodate your wishes, but this may result in a change in price.
After your workshop, I will fire your piece in my kiln and do any other works necessary. For example, sanding, moulding, framing etc. Your piece should be ready for you to collect approximately 1-2 weeks later, but we will discuss this on the day.
This workshop is suitable for beginners who would like to try fused glass, children (accompanied by an adult) from 10 years to adults. Group size: 1-4 people .
The session is a half day workshop (approximately 2.5-3 hours long – but this does depend on how quickly you work).
The workshop takes place in my lovely, peaceful, garden studio in the village of Drayton Parslow. Providing a great environment to be creative and mindful.
Cost
Weekends or week day evenings: 9.30am 2pm or 6.30pm (Mon-Fri only)
1 person £140, 2 people £75 pp, 3-6 people £70 pp..
Week days: 9.30am ,
1 person £130, 2 people £70pp, 3-6 people £65 pp.
These workshops can be booked for a mutually convenient date. A £20 per person deposit is required to secure the date. If for any reason you are unable to attend on the agreed date, please let me know as soon as possible. The deposit can be used against another date, as long as 14 days notice has been given. Repeated cancellations will result in the loss of the deposit.
