Workshop Information

Below are a few important details to help you prepare for your visit.

Who can take part

All workshops are suitable for beginners or improvers

Age 10 or above (unless otherwise stated) Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Workshop Environment

My workshops are designed to be fun, relaxed, and creative. However, they take place in a working glass studio, and there may be sharp edges involved when handling glass.

By attending a workshop, you acknowledge that you are participating at your own risk. Safety guidance will be provided throughout the session. Failure to follow safety instructions may result in you forfeiting the workshop.

Location

The workshop takes place in:
Drayton Parslow
MK17 0JJ
Buckinghamshire

If you are using a sat nav, please check that it has located the correct village, as some systems can direct visitors incorrectly.

The house is a white bungalow on the corner opposite the church.

The glass studio is located in the back garden. Please come around the side of the house and follow the path to the summerhouse.

What to Wear

For safety and comfort, please follow these guidelines:

  • Closed-toe, sturdy shoes are required (sandals or flip-flops are not suitable).

  • The temperature in the studio can vary, so wear layers that you can easily add or remove.

  • We will be working with small grains of glass, so it is best to avoid fluffy clothing that glass may stick to.

  • Please avoid loose or floaty sleeves that could disturb your work when reaching across the table.

  • If you have an apron, you are welcome to bring it.

What to Bring

An open mind

ideas of what you would like to make.

If you normally wear glasses, please remember to bring them.

Drinks and Refreshments

Please bring a travel mug with a lid if you would like to enjoy a hot or cold drink in the studio.

For safety reasons:

  • All drinks must be in covered containers

  • Food is not permitted in the studio

Materials Provided

You do not need to bring any materials.

  • Glass materials

Please let me know in advance if you have any allergies or specific requirements so that I can do my best to accommodate you.
