Drop in Suncatcher Workshop

Date: 6th - 22 June 2026

Open every day except Mondays and Tuesdays.

Time : 10am -3pm

Price £15 per suncatcher

Location: Drayton Parslow

As part of Bucks Art Weeks, I, along side the Drayton Parslow Artist Collective will be displaying, selling and demonstrating my glass art. My studio will be open for viewing and I will be running mini, drop-in, fusing taster workshops

What you will make

A 10×8cm suncatcher, with a metal hoop fused into the glass for hanging. You can create a design of your choice, using a wide choice of glass frits, dots, off cuts and enamels on a clear base. The glass will be fused to a textured finish, which adds to the light catching properties of the glass.

This is a drop in workshop, so there is no need to book. In the unlikely event that I am full when you arrive, there will be plenty to see and do. There are 3 other artists sharing the space with their art out on display and there will be refreshments available for a donation to charity. You are welcome to sit in the garden and soak up the relaxing atmosphere. (fingers crossed for dry weather).

What’s included

All glass, tools, kiln firings and finishing, as well as clear instructions and examples for inspiration, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere are provided.

Items will be ready to collect approximately 1-2 weeks later.

If you are unable to collect, i can post out to you for the cost of the P&P.

Suitable for: Beginners, adults and children from 10 years , no experience needed.
